CALL TO ARTISTS

Artists of any medium to show and/or sell their work with the theme of WATER, especially inspired by local water issues. Painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, video, installation, hands-on activities, etc. are all welcome!

The Water Festival Art Show is on Sunday, March 18, 10-4pm, at Armory Park Community Center, 220 S. 5th Avenue. Artists must bring artwork between 9-10am and pick up artwork 4-5pm, or make special arrangements. Deadline to register artworks is March 9, but is space is available on a first-come first-served registration process.

• Artist Name
• Contact Information
• Number of pieces (up to 3 are permitted)
• Medium(s)
• Approximate size(s)
• Digital image of the artwork, if available (not required)

On March 18, bring with you:
• Hanging devices for each piece (easel, stand, clips, etc.)
• Blub / Artist Statement, connection to water (per piece or for series)
• Printed art tags with relevant info:
• Artist name
• Title of piece
• Medium
• Size
• Price if for sale
(Artists keep 80% if sold, The Water Festival gets 20% for administrative costs)

Let us know ahead of time approximately how many pieces you'd like to submit and what mediums you work with so that we can plan the space accordingly. Artists must bring their own easels or stands, as wall hanging space is not guaranteed. Contact us for special arrangements. Artists from out of town/state are responsible for their own shipping. Artists are responsible for displaying and promoting their own work, although The Water Festival will promote the event and have volunteers to assist. Limit of 1-3 pieces per artist (1 video short if you are a filmmaker). If you would like to show more, consider getting an Exhibitor Booth.
