(5-mi. loop, including The Water Festival venue)

Cyclovia Tucson is a FREE annual event for people of all ages and abilities, during which roughly 5 miles of roadways are closed to cars and opened to people to come out and play in the streets for a day.  Participants can walk, bike, run, skip, and skate at a leisurely pace, stopping to enjoy a variety of activities along the way including music, food, crafts, and more.  This is truly a community event, highlighting schools, neighborhoods, businesses, parks, and other resources along the route.  Bring your family and friends and enjoy a beautiful spring day filled with free activities. Take advantage of car-free streets, because during Cyclovia, the streets are yours! www.CycloviaTucson.org

Solar Rock

Solar Rock is an annual 100% solar powered festival that features local music, speeches from renowned scientists and local leaders, and educational booth displays from area businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. This free public event aims to increase public awareness of climate change issues and, in doing so, put pressure on elected officials to prioritize clean energy and strategies for reducing carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.  Sponsored by the Food Conspiracy Co-op.  solarrocktucson.com
